The Next Generation

Almost 4 years ago exactly my life took on a whole new purpose...BEAR HUNTING! What is Bear hunting, you ask? To convince these kids to love Baylor like I do...

That day was the beginning of many, many good times with those four kiddos and their families (minus the part where I backed my car OFF Kristy's crazy driveway instead of out of it). Anyway, those four kids have become teenagers...they're taller than me now, they're smarter than me now, and I don't think they think I'm nearly as cool as they once did! And, I also think I convinced exactly none of them to love Baylor like I do!! Although they're still willing to attend pretty much any Baylor sporting event with me, so there's still a small ray of hope.

While they're busy being teenagers, I'm working on the next generation of future Baylor Bears. Today, I had the opportunity to take Luke and his good friend, Will, to a Baylor Basketball game. We enjoyed a very exciting game that came down to the final minutes with the Bears coming from behind to beat Colorado. We spent a little time watching ourselves on the video boards. We enjoyed a little play time on the court afterwards, and even got an autograph from Coach Drew.

Here they are at mid-court...

A group photo that a nice Baylor cheerleader offered to take for us...

And, someday we hope to be as big as Perry Jones III...

It was another great day in Waco, and another great Bear hunting experience!
