It was nice.

Tonight was the big ribbon-cutting/meet the teacher night at my school. I'm guessing the fact that it was raining and most of us have already met all of our student's parents was the reason for the low turnout. There were still lots of people there, just not as many as usual. Well, the highlight of the evening for me was when all my former students came to my room to say hello. The cool thing was they didn't just come say hello, they came in and got comfortable, like they belonged there. At one point there were 6 kids from last year in there at one time, all just talking, relaxing, and maybe having a little too much fun. I loved that they felt so comfortable and wanted to stay awhile. It was nice.
